Dear DCC Family…Today our nation is, again, in need of prayer. As we have seen time and time again over the last several months, violence, disorder and unrest have terrorized our nation, a result of living in a sinful and broken world. Let us join our LORD in pursing righteousness and hating violence (Psalm 11:5), let us detest what is evil and hold fast to what is good (Romans 12:9), and let us pray for our country and all of our nation’s leaders as they fulfill the roles for which God has placed them in power (1 Timothy 2:1-2). “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).
